Brand New Website and a Trip to Tillamook

New website homepage

This month has been very full. Busy and slow at the same time. I had grand visions of starting to work on my papermaking. But the universe had other plans. That said, working on my website turned out to be the best kind of project. I had started it at the end of the holiday break. And as per usual, it ballooned into a giant beast of a project. In my experience, web work always takes a long time and you will be constantly finding more things to add and change. This month was just the right situation for digging into this. I am very pleased with the outcome. It feels fresh and full. My cyanotype content is extremely deep and varied. Anyone that buys one of my kits will have lots to dig into whether they want to try it for a day or a lifetime.

As for adventuring, the weather (as you’d expect) has been pretty cold and soggy on the coast. But we did get a bunch of sunny days. So last weekend, we slipped up to Tillamook to have some fun. Always hit up the creamery for free cheese snacks and a clean restroom, poked around at the Air Museum, and visited the lighthouse at Cape Meares.
