Is There Something I should know about your handmade Items?

Yes! Thanks for being interested in my handmade items. A lot of my shop items are handmade. These include cyanotypes, monoprints, and screen prints to name a few. The process of creating these items means that each one is unique. Some variations may occur between prints like color registration and ink thicknesses. Keep these things in mind when ordering.

How long does it take for orders to ship?

All orders will be shipped within 3 business days of when the order was placed. If you need something to go out more quickly (i.e. birthday, etc.), feel free to message me on the contact page. I’m happy to help.

HOW DO YOU SHIP YOUR ONLINE ORDERS?

All orders will be shipped via USPS. Once orders have been shipped out, USPS will be in possession of the items purchased. At that point, it’s arrival time will be out of our control. The USPS website can give you estimates on how long packages take to arrive through their system. First-class and priority mail will have tracking numbers. That is the best way to keep up with the location of your order.

WHAT IF I ONLY ORDER STICKERS?

Sticker only orders will be mailed in an envelope with a stamp and no tracking.

CAN I RETURN A PURCHASE OR GET A REFUND?

All Hey LaRaye items are final sale.

MY ORDER SHIPPED QUITE A WHILE AGO AND IT HASN’T ARRIVED YET. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Please keep in mind that once an order has been shipped, USPS will be in possession of the items purchased. All orders with the exception of sticker only mail will have a tracking number. Check the tracking for its current status. We are not responsible for any packages lost in transit.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Not at this time. Only shipping to the United States.

WHAT KIND OF PHOTOGRAPHY GEAR DO YOU USE?

For digital photography, I have a Sony a6400 and use a few different lenses depending on the need - Sony 35mm 1. 8 Prime, Sony 70 - 350mm Zoom, Sigma 16mm 1.4. Before my Sony, I had a Canon Rebel T2i with a 50mm lens. Some photos you find here were shot with that camera. I also have an iPhone 11 Pro and a DJI Mini 2 drone.

For film photography, I have a collection of vintage cameras that I cycle through, some Lomography cameras, and many polaroid cameras. Here’s a list of a few of my most faves: Canon AE-1 Program, Holga, Sprocket Rocket, Konica Pop, Polaroid One Step 2, Polaroid SX-70. These are the main go-tos. You can check out my camera collection for more.

WHAT TOOLS DO YOU USE TO MAKE YOUR ART?

My work is both traditional (mostly watercolor and ink) and digital. For digital work, I use the app Procreate and some Adobe apps on my iPad Pro 12.9” (3rd Gen) with the Apple Pencil 2. I really love Retro Supply Co. Procreate brushes and textures.

DO YOU DO COMMISSIONS OR FREELANCE WORK?

I am not available for commissions or taking on any freelance design work.

CAN I SAVE IMAGES FROM YOUR SITE AND USE THEM AS MY OWN OR SELL/COPY YOUR ARTWORK?
