Southern Washington Coast Lighthouses
North of Astoria, across the Columbia River in Washington state, are two lighthouses. We had tried to go to the lighthouse in Cape Disappointment when we lived in Washington. The trip was fraught with troubles and was as you may have guessed a disappointment. North Oregon Coast
We traveled down the southern Oregon Coast in the midst of deep summer. When Labor Day weekend rolled around, I was missing that week on the road and sea stacks for miles. Living in Lincoln City, the north coast is much closer to us. While we’ve visited a few places like Cannon Beach and Pacific City, we hadn’t truly explored everything (especially Astoria).
Oregon to California West Coast Tour
Having lived in Oregon for a year now, we’ve traveled to many parts of the state. But the southern Oregon Coast still eluded us. And! It seemed to be holding the greatest treasures of all. The crowded coastline of sea stacks all the way to California. We set off for a week long adventure from the Central Coast to the Southern Coast and some Redwoods.
