These botancial monoprints start with collecting plants near my home on the Oregon Coast. I press them for a few weeks. Then using my own DIY etching press setup, I ink them and create these prints.

The plants featured on these letterpress prints were originally in a cyanotype or ink monoprint. I took the shape from a scan and created letterpress plates from the result. The plate and paper are then pressed using my own home letterpress setup.

While thrifting, I have been grabbing any frames that catch my eye. Then I pop cyanotypes and ink botanical monoprints in them. These are only available at in-person art markets. Come find me at one when you’re out on the Oregon Coast.

I have been making my own handmade paper from scraps and bits destined for the recycling bin. These are my first prints on paper I made myself.
