As a graphic designer, everything about the brand of Hey LaRaye is important. From the signage on my market table, to the packaging of my products, to my website. It’s all part of a look/feel that I’m cultivating. A brand experience. Most of my creative practice lies in the physical world. Making things on paper with ink or light. I like to balance that work with a bit of digital. Drawing on my iPad in Procreate as a starting place and then refining that work in Illustrator before turning it into a sticker is my usual workflow. I also love taking my print work and making notecards from the designs. Adding a cohesive vision to my practice elevates the work and the experience people have when interacting with it.
