This is an original botanical monoprint hand pressed on 300gsm acid free, heavyweight paper in a locally thrifted frame. These prints are created by first pressing the plants and then coating them with ink. The plant and paper are then pressed using my own home setup, which works similarly to an etching press. The result is a one-of-a-kind image leaving an impression of the plant. Every monoprint is unique and signed.
